Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 1, 2026
ElectroSim is committed to responsible handling of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you when using the ElectroSim mobile app and related services.
Information We Collect
Depending on features you use, we may collect:
- Account information such as email address and authentication details.
- Profile information, including profile photo when you choose to upload one.
- Circuit data you save locally, sync to cloud, or publish publicly.
- Purchase and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features.
- Basic diagnostic information to maintain app reliability and security.
Camera and Photo Access
On iOS, ElectroSim requests camera access only when you tap Take Photo to capture a profile picture for your account. We request photo library access only when you choose to pick an existing image.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain sign-in sessions.
- Save, sync, and restore your circuit projects.
- Enable sharing and community features when you publish content.
- Provide subscription/lifetime entitlement and restore purchase access.
- Operate, secure, and improve the app.
Publicly Shared Circuits
If you share a circuit publicly, selected content and profile metadata may be visible to other users in community listings. Please avoid including sensitive information in circuit titles, descriptions, or comments.
Subscriptions and Payments
Payment transactions are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play and not directly by ElectroSim servers. We store only the minimum purchase/entitlement state needed to determine Pro access.
Data Retention
We retain account and cloud content as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion where available in-app or by contacting support.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including secure transport for network requests. No system is completely secure, but we continuously work to protect user data.
Children's Privacy
ElectroSim is a training simulator and is not intended for unsupervised use by children below the minimum age required by local law. If you believe a child provided personal information improperly, contact us to request removal.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. To make a request, contact us at support@simlearningtech.com.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material updates will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page.
